The Hotsy Totsy Raves are events based in Walthamstow for kids and grown-ups to get together to dance and have fun to some great music and even better vibes!
We work with amazing venues in our beloved E17 to bring the best parties with music for all – our secret is, if the kids see the grown-ups throwing some shapes, they will follow!
They are always fun, always inclusive and welcome to all.
Who We Are
Hello I’m Karen – an E17 local and mummy to 5 year old Milo.
This idea all started when I visited The Hub in my local park, Higham Hill, and saw the massive marquee. It reminded me of raving of old and I decided to put on a family event (as I wasn’t allowed to do an all-nighter!).
I didn’t know if anyone would come, apart from a few mates, but it was a sell out and they have continued to be since! It is so brilliant watching families from the area come together celebrating great music, drinks and vibes!
Since our first event, we have hosted raves in venues around E17 and are always looking to hear about possible collaborations and ideas for events. Do get in touch! hotsytotsyraves@gmail.com

Saturday 18th April
Hotsy Totsy’s Family Raves are back at for 2026 and we are kicking off with an amazing Rave at the incredible Soho Theatre in Walthamstow!
We will be hosting an afternoon of incredible tunes from our resident DJ Joy Alarm to get every one wiggling, young and old.
Expect dance classics, 90s/00s bangers and some iconic tunes – so get your glow sticks ready!
Joining us will also be our amazing face painter, Maryam Luong and there will be Rave props a-plenty so do join us for an afternoon of fun!
